Haiku for a girl child in India


Oh’ child of muddy earth
who can dare to relocate your birth?
My womb is your berth 

Oh’ fetus of fair gender
Indentify, clinical scissors are quite unfair
Unveil the monster, holly mother

Oh’ bearer of all generations
Bare, all your impending delicate comprehensions
Smash, the glass of consolations

Oh’ essence of moist soil
Neither be dumb to them, nor vulnerable
You are a volcanic soul.

ocean haikus


Clouds apparently back to the
Ocean, forgot to put down salt within
Now back with acidulous disposition!

 Lets drown all cryptic vibes
 Those lack depth , in our dense lives
Ocean could conceal , annoying hives .

Deep down that blue ocean
There lived a fairy, her name ‘’Green’’
She changed name ‘’ cruise queen’’.

When night falls, the ocean,
Weeps silently, tear drops accumulates within, now
White / pink pearls  will form

An ocean within you, another
In me, try to come closer, closer
Till absorbed within each other.

Quick rivision of the chapter '' integers'' for K5 to K7 currriculum

Properties

3. commutative property – If the places of Integers are interchanged with each other , their value does not change for operations like addition and multiplication .
Ex- 23 + 45 = 45 + 23
5678 + 4351 = 4351 + 5678
8 +  9 + 4 = 9 + 4 + 8 = 8 + 4 + 9,  these are examples of commutative property of addition.
67 × 58 = 58 × 67
48 × 32 × 2 = 2 × 32 × 48 = 48 × 2 × 32
45 × 54 = 54 × 45 ,  etc . Remember that property does not applicable for other two basic operations like subtraction and division. Could you find out with examples?
Is 560 – 162 = 162 – 560?
Is 69 ÷ 23 = 23 ÷ 69? No. That’s how this commutative property is not applicable for SUBTRACTION and DI 8 )VISION. Could you apply this for negative Integers for a try?
4. Associative property –  this is another form of only the previous property. Don’t get confused or annoyed. It will be quite fun when we will compare this two properties simultaneously. Believe me it is going to be great fun.
Let’s start. If you have three Integers and you put them either under addition or multiplication; couple either the first two numbers or the last two numbers with the help of a bracket , both of them will be equal.
Ex -  3 + 8 + 9 , now put the first two in a bracket like (3 + 8 ) + 9 ; or put a bracket taking the last two digits inside the bracket and the let the first one as it is like 3 + ( 8 + 9 ).
Now if we solve , both of them will give equal value; ( 3 + 8 ) + 9 = 3 + ( 8 + 9 ) = 20. Same integers could also go under the operation multiplication also.
For example (3 × 8 ) × 9 = 3 × ( 8 × 9 )
This is known as the ASSOCIATIVE PROPERTY of addition/multiplication accordingly. Here addition and multiplication are associated over these three numbers to give the same numerical value. Next episode we will discuss how to differentiate between these two properties and that’s where real fun lies. By for now.

Quick rivision of the chapter'' Integers'' for k-5 to k-7

 class 5th to 7th)


Types

Set of numbers starting from ONE to[S1]  INFINITY are called  NATURAL NUMBERS. Infinity means’’ has no limit’

Ex-   1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8…………………………….

2.When we include ZERO, in the set of natural numbers , this set starting from ZERO to INFINITY , are called WHOLE NUMBERS .

Ex-   0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 ………………………………

3.As we include the numbers beyond zero, that means all negative numbers , then this set is called INTEGERS. It extends from –infinity to +infinity.

Ex-   …………….-8  -7  -6  -5  -4  -3  -2  -1  0 1   2  3  4  5  6  7  8…………. 

4. Fun about the negative numbers as you can express them in + ve value. Let me give you some examples below

(a) if you jump 10 meters from any floor or sea level then that’s called simply jumped 10 meters high. If you have to say this in terms of ‘’diving’’ then you will say, he

dived  -10 meters.

If you dive into the sea 10 meters then it can be expressed as; jumped -10 meters

            Dived  +10 meters

            Jumped -10 meters high.

5. Remember just one thing while solving a problem. If the question does not mention the place/level (if height) ; then the answer will be in its +ve value. For example ,

If some one dives 5m and the question does not suggest you to take the level of the pool/sea/water body as ‘’zero meter’’ then your answer will be only 5m.

If  the question mentions as in this example that,

a person dives 5m from the sea level which is taken as ''0'' m, then your answer will be '' the person travelled -5m.

Quick revision of chapter INTEGERs


properties

1.Additive identity of addition.  When any Integer retains it’s  identity even after added to another Integer it must be added to zero. This is all about the property of additive identity. Here identity means it’s numerical value only.
For example -  39 + 0 = 39
58 + 0 = 58, etc.
58 + 0 = 58, etc.
2.Multiplicative identity.  When  any Integer does not change it’s numerical value after multiplied with another Integer, then it must be multiplied with 1 only. This is all about ‘’ multiplicative identity’’ property.
